Biography
My birthplace is Steveston, British Columbia, Canada. Following that, I spent the initial four years of my life in the internment camp at Lemon Creek, B.C., Canada, and subsequently resided in Japan for a period of nine years. Living in Japan was a formative experience for me as I immersed myself in the rich culture and traditions of my ancestors. Following my return to Canada, I resided in Montreal for two years before eventually returning to Richmond. After earning my Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration Degree from the University of B.C., I studied art at both Kwantlen and Langara colleges.
